One of the wildest things about content creation is that you can spend years admiring and frothing over these huge stars online, only for one of them to suddenly appear in your city and message you on X.

That’s exactly what happened with Brock Magnus. I’d never planned a trip to Eastern Europe, so I assumed the chances of us ever filming together were pretty remote. Then, completely unexpectedly, Brock came to Sydney.

He was filming with several of the city’s bigger creators while he was here, but I wanted our scene to feel a little different. It was my first time shooting at Sydney Sauna, a venue I’ve since gone on to do quite a bit of work with. One of the photos from that day even ended up in their promotional materials.

We started with a little skit in the bar, with Brock playing a guy who’d been stood up by his Grindr date. My acting skills were admittedly pretty questionable, but we had a lot of fun with it and managed to capture some of my best footage while we were there.

Brock was awesome. He had this quiet, relaxed confidence and was incredibly easy to work with. I was definitely starstruck but, if I’m honest, looking back at the evidence, I was also extremely turned on.
